About us

Taxcare for Nannies understands what a precious commodity free time is in the lives of busy parents. So our comprehensive service is designed to take care of all your payroll obligations, simplify life for you and give you complete peace of mind, freeing you to do whatever you really want to do with your time.

We are available in the evenings and at weekends both by email and on the phone - very useful to parents who prefer to deal with payroll issues outside working hours or when their children are in bed - and we pride ourselves on offering a flexible, personal service.

Taxcare for Nannies is managed by Kirsty Howarth, a member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals, so you can be sure you will receive an expert, up-to-date and professional service. 

Kirsty is a graduate of Cambridge University and worked for many years as a libel lawyer with the foremost team of defamation solicitors in the country.  She took a break from the City to be with her two sons when they were small, and during that time she retrained as a payroll professional, quickly passing her exams with flying colours. 

As a busy working mum, she soon saw a gap in the market for a nanny payroll service which not only dealt with matters quickly, efficiently and without fuss, but was also available to parents out of hours and was run by someone who understands the pressures on busy parents and who takes the time and has the knowledge to talk them through the more complicated aspects of employing and paying a nanny. 

And so Taxcare for Nannies was born.  In the years since then it has grown rapidly, including through a large number of word-of-mouth recommendations (and we are very proud our clients feel happy and confident recommending us to their friends).  We still have at our core the personal approach which differentiates us from others.  We have many exciting plans for the future and look forward to working with yet more busy parents!
